Janice Erzmoneit, CPA, President
Janice Erzmoneit was born and raised in Passaic County, and currently lives in North Haledon with her husband and son. She has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Passaic County CASA since 2009, and currently serves as President of the Board of Trustees for the organization. She is a CPA and holds an MBA from Pace University Lubin School of Business as well as a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from William Paterson University. She is the Vice President, Finance for Liberty Science Center, a nonprofit museum of science and technology for children and children-at-heart in Jersey City, NJ. She started her career as an auditor with KPMG in New York City, where she spent seven years serving clients in the Not-for-Profit and Commercial sectors. Before joining Liberty Science Center, she held various financial executive positions at organizations in the food service, transportation and logistics, and apparel industries where her accomplishments helped to take those organizations to the next level of financial and operational effectiveness through cross-functional leadership, systems and process development and improvement, and financial planning, management, analysis, and reporting.
Peter Lefkowitz, Esq. Vice President
Peter Lefkowitz was born and raised in Essex County and currently lives in West Caldwell with his wife and daughter. He has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Passaic County CASA since 2012 and currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Trustees for the organization. He is an Attorney at Law of the State of New Jersey and holds a BA from Rutgers NCAS and a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law. He is a member of the firm of Nurik & Lefkowitz LLC in Pompton Lakes, and has been with the firm since 1984. His primary focus of practice is family law. He is a past officer of Rotary International and has served as chairman of the Fee Arbitration Committee for Passaic County. He currently serves as on the Passaic County Matrimonial Early Settlement Panel.
