The legal standard of 12 months until a permanency hearing in the life of a one year old baby is a lifetime. Time is of the essence for any child, especially an infant or toddler. Therefore, permanency should be an extreme priority from day one and should guide advocacy. But what does advocacy look like for infants and toddlers? Join us to dig deep into the step by step process of advocating for our most vulnerable youth. This is practical workshop necessary for all advocates working with this age group.
To accommodate differing schedules, identical sessions of this workshop are being offered during the daytime on Monday, April 15 and in the evening on Tuesday, April 16.
